After graduating from Creative Photography at Humber College in Toronto where she was lucky to have interned for Annie Liebovitz, Kyla left behind the bright lights of the big city to head to the last frontier.
In almost 15 years in Dawson City, she has worked as a photographer, a bartender, a zamboni driver, and an event coordinator.
Kyla has served on the boards of Klondike Institute of Art and Culture and the Dawson City Community Radio Society. She is an avid volunteer around town and still makes art here and there.
Kyla was happy to join the SOVA team as Administrative Officer in 2012.
